ExcelFormula is an AI-powered Excel formula generator that helps users create Excel formulas from natural language descriptions. Our service includes:

  • AI-powered formula generation based on user queries
  • Formula explanations and examples
  • Usage tracking and limits
  • User authentication via Google OAuth or Email

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Types

  • Anonymous Users: Limited to 3 free formula generations (tracked by IP + browser)
  • Registered Users (Free Tier): 30 formula generations per month

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. Usage Limits and Fair Use

4.1 Rate Limits

  • Anonymous users: 3 formula generations (lifetime)
  • Registered users: 30 formula generations per month
  • Email validation: 10 requests per minute per IP

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limiting mechanisms
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI models
  • Use the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Submit malicious content or attempt to compromise the service
  • Resell or redistribute access to our service
  • Create multiple accounts to evade usage limits

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Service Content

ExcelFormula and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 User Content

You retain ownership of your formula queries and any content you submit. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content for:

  • Providing the service to you
  • Improving our AI models and service quality
  • Analytics and research purposes (anonymized)

5.3 Generated Formulas

Formulas generated by our AI are provided "as is" for your use. While we strive for accuracy, you are responsible for testing and validating formulas before use in production environments.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, reliability, or correctness of generated formulas
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Security or freedom from viruses or harmful components

You use the service at your own risk. Always verify generated formulas before using them in important or production spreadsheets.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EXCELFORMULA, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from use or inability to use the service
  • Damages resulting from incorrect or inaccurate formulas

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ExcelFormula and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
